Jobs

We are looking for:

  • Men's tailor / pattern maker (m/f/d)

  • Seamstress/Alteration Tailor (m/f/d)

Wanted: Men's tailor / pattern maker / pattern director for men's outerwear for exceptional projects

Do you have a passion for craftsmanship and want to do more than just design patterns for the masses? Are you interested in creating bespoke garments? Then you've come to the right place! We are looking for a men's tailor to strengthen our creative team and develop and tailor patterns based on jointly created designs.
Women's tailors with sound knowledge of men's patterns are also welcome.

Our focus is on the production of historical uniforms, historical clothing, theatre costumes and the outfitting of carnival associations (dance clothing, councils of eleven, committee caps).

Our company

As a craft business with over 150 years of history, we are deeply rooted in tradition and at the same time internationally known for our craftsmanship.
At the heart of our business is a team of experienced seamstresses, milliners, and hat makers who create unique pieces with passion and precision. Despite our rural roots, we look to the wider world. Our management team leads the company with a modern and forward-thinking approach, digitizing our processes and continuously expanding our international presence.
In this way, we combine the best of both worlds: traditional craftsmanship meets innovative strength.

Your tasks

  • Production of sewing patterns and size charts, according to our own and given designs (We work with Müller & Sohn)
  • We have nothing against manual designs, but if you can use CAD, that's an advantage.
  • Organization, participation and guidance of sample meetings and fittings.
  • Issuing production approvals for prototypes and assuming responsibility for fit and processing controls.
  • Visits to trade fairs.

Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of clothing technology, training as a tailor or comparable qualification.
  • Ideally, initial experience in technical product development, as well as very good knowledge of textile technology.
  • Conscientious and independent work ethic.
  • Digital affinity: Using project management tools like Trello, Monday or Asana is no problem for you, or you are willing to learn how to use them.
  • Teamwork and communication skills are essential for working successfully in our flat hierarchies.

What we offer

  • Permanent contract and fair, performance-based remuneration
Attractive additional benefits, including company pension schemes
  • Varied work in a motivated team with an agile working method
  • Flexible, child-friendly working hours

Your development opportunities

We are constantly evolving and want to further digitize our production processes – all our employees are invited to be a part of this. The journey together can't always be planned in advance, but we are happy to support your development by promoting further training.
